Turkish coil import prices from CIS decline
Turkish hot- and cold-rolled coil prices from the CIS have continued sliding in the past week, mainly due to dull demand, Kallanish learns from local market participants.
CIS mills reduced their HRC offer prices by some $10/tonne on-week to $565-575/t cfr Turkey last week. This follows a cut by around $10/t the week before by both Russian and Ukrainian mills to $580-590/t cfr Turkey, in order to trigger some buying, sources inform.
