Europe drives Turkey’s January HR flats export gorwth
Turkey’s exports of hot rolled flats increased by 28.1% year-on-year to 129,613 tonnes in January, mainly driven by a surge in shipments to Europe. The average value/tonne of these exports went down to $331/t from $588/t a year earlier, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
