Turkish HR flats exports decline in June
Turkish hot rolled (HR) flat steel exports declined -8.4% year-on-year to 133,507 tonnes in June, according to Turkish Statistical institute (TUIK) data. The rise in shipments to the US and the Balkans partly offset the fall to North Africa and Spain, Kallanish notes.
The total average value/tonne of these exports decreased to $451/t from $468/t a year earlier, calculations from TUIK data show.
