Turkish HR flats export collapse continues in February
Turkish hot rolled flat products exports continued to plunge in February, after reducing greatly in January on extremely low trade volumes with Europe during the preceding fourth quarter.
Turkey exported just 81,200 tonnes of HR flats under HS code 7208 in February, 33.2% down on January and 65.6% down on-year, Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data show. Two-month total export dispatches were just 202,731t, 62.2% down on-year.
