Turkey’s first-half rebar exports surge
Turkish rebar exports continued their rise in June, growing by 41.7% on-year to 675,355 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They were, however, slightly down from 682,930t in May.
Average sales price increased to $636/tonne versus $406/t in June 2020 and $625/t in May 2021.
