Turkish flats, longs exports rise in August
Long steel exports from Turkey increased by 6.4% year-on-year to 884,000 tonnes in August and flats steel exports rose 6.9% to 201,000t, according to data provided by the Turkish Steel Producers’ Association (TCUD).
The figures follow a 39.5% y-o-y growth in flats exports to 250,000 tonnes and a -1.2% decline in longs exports to 824,000t in July.
