Turkey’s April flats exports decline, despite US rebound
Exports of hot rolled coil from Turkey slid in April to April 2020 levels, with the four-month total still down considerably on-year. Shipments to the US rebounded, however.
April saw Turkish HR flats under HS code 7208 declining 12.4% on-month to 202,776 tonnes, with four-month dispatches sliding 30% on-year to 636,864t, show Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
