Turkish flats exports rebound in May
Turkish exports of hot rolled coil rebounded on-month in May, while remaining slightly below May 2020 levels, with five-month shipments still down on-year, show Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Turkish HR flats under HS code 7208 exports increased by 38.4% on-month but were still down 2.2% on-year at 278,871 tonnes. Five-month exports remained down on-year, by 23.5% at 914,523t, Kallanish notes.
