Turkish economic confidence continues growth in October
Following the sharp August decline and September recovery, Turkey’s economic confidence index continued to grow in October. It increased 1.2% on-month to 96.5, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Turkey’s construction confidence index, meanwhile, which was at 88.3 in September, rose to 89.1 in October (see Kallanish passim).
An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, whereas below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
