Turkish domestic scrap prices follow rising import prices

Turkish domestic scrap prices, including shipbreaking scrap and auto-bundle scrap, continue to rise, in line with the upward trend in scrap import prices, Kallanish notes. Integrated flat steelmaker Erdemir has raised its auto-bundle (DKP) purchasing price by TRY 35/tonne to TRY 785/t ($248/t), with effect from 9 November.
