Turkish domestic scrap prices rise further
Turkish mills have again raised their domestic scrap buying prices this week, reflecting the lira depreciation, although srcap import price shave fallen, Kallanish notes.
Local integrated long steelmaker Kardemir has lifted its domestic auto-bundle (DKP) scrap purchasing price to TRY 1,230/tonne ($317/t), effective 9 November, from the TRY 1,200/t price set on 7 November, up TRY 30/t on-month.
