Turkish domestic scrap prices rise, following imports
Turkish domestic scrap prices have risen this week as some mills increased their auto-bundle (DKP) buying prices, reflecting the recent rise in imports scrap prices, Kallanish notes.
Local scrap-based long steelmaker Diler Demir Celik has lifted its DKP purchasing prices to TRY 1,055/tonne ($289/t), up TRY 20/t on-week, with effect from 11 October.
