Turkish domestic scrap prices increase
Turkish domestic scrap prices have risen last week as some mills have lifted their purchasing prices, reflecting the further increase in scrap import prices, notes Kallanish.
Integrated flat steelmaker Erdemir has raised its auto-bundle (DKP) buying price by TRY 30/tonne since the beginning of February to TRY 1,425/t ($376/t) with effect from 24 February. Its integrated subsidiary Isdemir's DKP price has also gone up by TRY 50/t to TRY 1,355/t.
