Domestic scrap prices in Turkey follow imports uptick
Turkish mills have lifted their domestic scrap purchasing prices this week, reflecting the upward trend in scrap import prices, notes Kallanish.
Scrap-based flat and long steelmaker Colakoglu Metalurji has raised its auto-bundle (DKP) buying price to TRY 1,200/tonne ($306/t) on 30 November, or by TRY 95/t from the beginning of the month.
