Turkish domestic scrap prices decline on imports slump
Turkish mills have reduced further their domestic scrap buying prices at the start of this week, reflecting the slump in scrap import prices since mid-September, Kallanish notes.
Local scrap-based long steelmaker Diler Demir Celik has reduced its domestic auto-bundle (DKP) scrap purchasing price to TRY 1,075/tonne ($303/t), effective 26 September, down TRY 20/t on-week.
