Turkish crude steel production improves on-month in November
Turkey's crude steel production declined -8.1% on-year, but rose 7.4% on-month, in November to 2.8 million tonnes, according to the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD).
Electric arc furnace-based output fell -11% on-year in November and BOF-based output dropped by -1.7%.
Over January-November Turkish crude steel output thus dropped -10.4% on-year to 30.9mt, with EAF-based production down -12.6% to 20.9mt and BOF-based output down -5.3% to 10mt.
