Turkish CR flats imports decrease in July
Turkey's cold rolled (CR) flat steel imports decreased -16.3% year-on-year to 91,994 tonnes in July. This was mainly on the back of a slower growth in imports from Russia and lower intake from Ukraine and South Korea, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The total average value/tonne of these imports declined to $832/t from $873/t a year earlier, TUIK data shows.
