Turkish CR flats exports rise in April
Turkish exports of cold rolled flat steel increased 9.6% year-on-year to 24,728 tonnes in April. The total average value of these exports dropped to $896/t from $1,256/t a year ago, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical institute (TUIK) data.
The rise follows a 171% y-o-y surge in exports in March, thanks to a jump in shipments to the USA and increased supply to Europe.
