Turkish CR flats exports double again in May
Turkish cold-rolled (CR) flat steel exports grew 106.2% on-year in May, driven by a doubling in shipments to the US, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
At 82,107 tonnes, CR flats exports in May were up 68.6% over April. The total average value/tonne of these exports increased to $772/t from $642/t a year ago.
