Turkish coil prices strengthen
Prices of hot and cold rolled coil in the Turkish market have climbed in the past week as coil import prices have remained strong, while demand has improved, market participants tell Kallanish.
Local buyers have begun ordering October-rolling coils, with bookings at $535-540/tonne heard for HRC, traders inform. This is up by some $10/t over the deal prices heard a week earlier.
