Turkish coil import prices increase
Turkish hot and cold rolled coil import prices have increased last week as CIS mills announced higher asking prices for their next rolling cycle, market participants tell Kallanish.
Russia-origin offers for August-rolling HRC were heard at around $500/t cfr Turkey and $550-555/t cfr Turkey for CRC. This is a considerable increase from the booking price levels of $455-460/t and $520-525/t cfr Turkey for July-production HRC and CRC, heard in end-June.
