Turkish coil import prices firm up
Turkish hot-rolled coil (HRC) import prices from the CIS have moved up in the past week, despite weak trading activity, market participants tell Kallanish.
A Russian mill was heard offering January-production HRC at $560/tonne cfr Turkey towards the end of the past week. This is up by at least $15/t on-week. Ukraine-origin material was suggested to be available at $540-550/t cfr Turkey.
