Turkish coil import prices fall on weak demand
Turkish hot- and cold-rolled coil import prices slipped further last week as CIS mills reduced their offers amid sluggish demand, market participants tell Kallanish.
Both Russian and Ukraine-origin coil prices have lost some $10-15/tonne week-on-week. This, however, has not resulted in transactions, according to the interviewed Turkish sources.
