Turkish carmaker suspends output on domestic demand slump

Turkish car manufacturer Tofas will suspend production at its Bursa plant for nine days during October due the recent slump in domestic automotive demand, the company says. The nine days will not necessarily be consecutive. The firm expects the move to have no material effect on its overall production and sales.
