Turkish billet exploits China's appetite, CIS follows

The Black Sea billet export price increase has accelerated this week after China re-entered the market late last week. Bids were higher than expected to start with, traders tell Kallanish, and Turkish suppliers have caught the first wave, selling at least 150,000 tonnes of billet to China in the last few days.
