Turkish billet imports fall despite continued Pakistan sourcing
Turkish billet imports under HS code 720711 fell 9% on-year in September to 166,043 tonnes, Kallanish notes from Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Their average price was $564/tonne versus $680/t a year earlier and $599/t in August 2022.
