Turkish billet exports zero, imports grow amid costs
Turkish billet exports shrunk to virtually zero in November 2022 versus over 46,000 tonnes in the year-earlier month and 39,252t in October, Kallanish notes from Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
This means that HS code 720711 billet exports from Turkey plunged 37% on-year in January-November to 536,493t, with Morocco taking in over 359,000t.
