Turkish billet exports fall despite Egypt, Italy demand
Turkish semi-finished product exports, the vast majority of which were billet, plummeted -60% on-year in September to 67,657 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This was, however, up from 41,830t in August.
