Turkish automotive production crashes, outlook more positive
Turkish automotive production collapsed -91.3% year-on-year in April to only 11,164 vehicles, as a result of carmakers’ production halts due to the coronavirus outbreak in Turkey.
Passenger car production slumped -88.4% to 9,661 cars, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD). Commercial vehicle production fell -96.6% to 1,503 units.
