Turkish automotive production surges in May
Turkish automotive production, which recovered in April, recorded a significant improvement in May. It surged 25.5% on-year to 103,984 vehicles. Passenger car production, however, rose by only 0.3% to 67,162 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD).
Commercial vehicle production drove the growth, soaring 131.8% to 36,822 units.
