Turkish automotive production starts 2024 on downtick
Turkish automotive production started 2024 on a downward trend. It declined 3.0% on-year to 108,483 vehicles in January. Passenger car production alone fell by 5.2% to 67,059 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Industry Association (OSD).
Total and passenger car production were 119,314 and 76,416 units respectively in December 2023.
Commercial vehicle production rose 0.8% on-year to 41,424 units.
