Turkish passenger car production recovers in January
Turkish automotive production fell -0.1% year-on-year in January to 109,783 vehicles. Passenger car production, however, increased 5.6% on-year to 75,396 cars, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD). Commercial vehicle production fell -10.6% to 34,387 units.
Overall Turkish automotive exports, however, dropped -3.3% to 91,430 units and generated $1.5 billion in January, up 6% on-year.
