Turkish automotive production, exports soar in August
Following its sharp fall in July, Turkish automotive production rose by 41.7% on-year in August to 106,748 vehicles, with passenger car production up 31.7% to 59,539 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD).
Commercial vehicle production rose by 56.7% to 47,209 units.
Turkish automotive exports soared by 92.7% to 82,621 units, generating $2.44 billion in revenue, up from $1.56 billion last year.
