Turkish automotive production, exports decline in January
Turkish automotive production decreased by 3.3% on-year in January to 106,176 vehicles.
Passenger car production also fell by 8.8% on-year to 68,777 cars, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD). Commercial vehicle production, however, rose by 8.8% to 37,399 units.
Turkish automotive exports dropped by 13.8% in January to 77,569 units and generated $2.30 billion in revenue, down from $2.46 billion last year.
