Turkish automotive production ends its upward trend
Turkish automotive production, which had followed an upward trend since April, fell in August, declining 13.3% on-year to 92,625 vehicles. Passenger car production, nevertheless, rose by 5.1% to 62,560 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD).
Commercial vehicle production fell by 36.4% to 30,065 units.
