Turkish automotive production continues rise, eyes export leadership
Turkish automotive production, which has recovered since September, continued its upward trend in December. It rose 8.2% on-year to 142,314 vehicles. Passenger car production surged by 22.1% to 93,521 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Industry Association (OSD).
Commercial vehicle production, however, fell 11.3% to 48,793 units in December.
