Turkish automotive finishes 2020 strongly, but still down
Turkish automotive production finished 2020 strongly, increasing by 10% on-year in December to 149,614 units, according to Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD) data. This came despite passenger car output falling -3% to 92,300 vehicles.
Commercial vehicles production drove the good performance, surging 41% to 57,314 units.
Turkish automotive exports however fell -11% in December to 94,634 units, with passenger car exports slumping -24% to 54,53…
