Turkish automotive finishes 2021 sluggishly, commercial vehicles outperform
Turkish automotive production continued to decrease in December. It fell by 12.1% on-year to 131,557 vehicles, with passenger car production down 17% to 76,570 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD).
Commercial vehicle production decreased by 4.1% to 54,987 units.
Turkish automotive exports rose by 8.1% to 102,288 units, generating $2.97 billion in revenue, up from $2.83 billion last year.
