Turkish scrap rises on fresh post-holiday deals
Turkish mills had a quiet start to the week in terms of imported scrap purchases, but concluded new scrap bookings from the UK and Baltic on Tuesday.
Due to the sharp price falls in China during the Eid holiday last week, Turkish mills initially wanted to see the possible impact of developments in China on steel prices. They got some respite with the iron ore price jump on Tuesday.
