Turkey’s Yukselen Celik boosts first-half profit
Yukselen Çelik, a leading Turkish specialty steel producer, increased its first-half revenue by 218% on-year to TRY 761.9 million ($42.4m). The company’s net profit rose 275% to TRY 118.9m.
Ebitda margin rose to 25% from 19.3% last year, while net profit margin appeared at 15.6%, Kallanish notes.
The company, which increased its exports by more than 20 times in the first half of 2022, recorded a significant increase in foreign exchange income.
