Turkey’s Tufan Metallurgy awaits approval for billet project
Turkey’s Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation says Tufan Metallurgy’s environmental impact assessment process has begun for its billet mill project in Adana, Kallanish notes.
The re-roller currently sources billet feedstock mainly from the domestic market.
Under the scope of the investment, Tufan Metallurgy plans to install an induction furnace for billet production with an annual capacity of 244,281 tonnes.
