Turkey’s September welded pipe exports fall, imports surge
Turkish welded pipe exports declined by -17.3% year-on-year to 139,575 tonnes in September. The average price of these exports went down to $674/tonne from $801/t a year earlier, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The decrease follows three consecutive months of y-o-y increases in Turkey’s exports, after a decline in May.
