Turkey's September welded imports plunge on China slump
Turkish welded pipe imports registered a sharp drop on-year in September, following the surge in August, as shipments from China plummeted, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
September's welded pipe imports plunged -70.6% y-o-y to 8,874 tonnes. Their total average value/tonne increased to $1,731/t from $1,247/t a year ago, according to calculations from TUIK data.
