Turkey's September scrap imports grow, billet intake declines

Turkish scrap imports rose 35.57% year-on-year to 1.38 million tonnes in September thanks to increased intake from North America and Europe. Billet imports, meanwhile, remained on the decline, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
