Turkey’s rod exports halve in December
Turkish wire rod exports declined sharply in December, by -50.3% on-year to 104,116 tonnes, and were down -13% from November, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average price fell to $446/tonne in December versus $457.5/t in November and $539/t in December 2018.
