Turkey’s rebar exports grow further in August
Turkish rebar exports rose by 13.4% year-on-year to 632,203 tonnes in August as mills preferred to source cheap Chinese billet instead of scrap during the month. The average price of these exports, however, decreased by $117/tonne to $406/t, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
