US demand helps lift Turkey’s rebar exports
Turkish rebar exports increased 25.7% on-year in March to 522,427 tonnes. They were also up from 464,454t in February, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. The average sales price was $427/tonne versus $479/t in March 2019 and $434/t in February 2020.
