Turkey’s rebar exports more than halve in February
Turkish rebar exports accelerated their long-lasting downward trend in February, hitting a multi-year-low. They plunged by 60.7% on-year to 209,397 tonnes. They were also down from 267,532t in December and 306,762t in January, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
Their average price was $676/tonne versus $705/t in February 2022 and $655/t in January 2023.
