Turkey’s rebar exports inch down in September
Turkish rebar exports slipped by -0.6% year-on-year to 597,044 tonnes in September as prices of scrap imports into Turkey plunged and buyers refrained from purchases, expecting lower rebar prices. The average price of these exports decreased by $169/tonne to $391/t, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
