Turkey's Q1 semis imports from China jump 719%
Turkey's imports of China-origin semi-finished steel zoomed 719% year-on-year to 411,000 tonnes in the first quarter, according to the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
The country's total steel imports from China rose 19% y-o-y to 679,000t in Q1, the association says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
